1950: As a result of the post war regeneration Marshall Plan, VCA is able to install the first glass-blowing machines

1980: Creation of the Vicrila company, the first production subsidiary company in Spain
1982: Creation of a US production facility - Durand Glass Manufacturing Company (DGMC) in Milleville, New Jersey, USA
1983: Creation of the prestige brand, J.G Durand
1999: Acquisition of Salviati the traditional Murano-based glass company in Italy

2000: Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques changes name to become Arc International.The group acquires Mikasa, the No.1 tableware company in the United States. Mikasa oversees its own network of retail outlets as well as owning the Studio Nova brand

2001-2006: Globalisation

2001: Creation of the production site of Arc Glassware Nanjing (AGN) in China
2003: Arc Glassware Nanjing (AGN) manufactures its first glasses
Arc International acquires wholesaler-distributors Barnett and Alcester in the U.K. and becomes Arc International Tableware UK (AITUK)
The group acquires wholesaler Enériz and creates ARC Distribución Ibérica (ADI)
2004: Arc International creates Arc International Middle East (AIME) following the purchase of capital in Rak Glass, a glassware company located in the United Arab Emirates
Acquisition of the American distributor Cardinal International specializing in food service, based in Wayne, New Jersey
Creation of Arc Distribution France (ADF) and purchase of the Fliba group
2006: Creation of AIC, Arc International Cookware following the purchase purchase of Newell Cookware Europe and its Pyrex brand. AIC specializes in oven cookware and distributes Pyrex (owned by Corning Inc and sold by Arc International Cookware SAS under an exclusive licence in Europe, the Middle East and in Africa)
Launch of independent distribution of Salviati with the creation of a chain of Salviati shops and the roll out of its own warehouses
Opening of an Arc International retail outlet in a specific Homewares-themed Shopping Centre ("Domus") based in Rosny-sous-Bois, near Paris
ARC International and Pasabahçe create a joint venture in North America, targeting the catering and hotel industry
