The goal
The project started in January 2021In order to limit or even ban the use of plastic in their promotional items for environmental reasons, the Pernod Ricard group asked Arc Customised Glass to work on a cardboard blister to replace the plastic shell/blister.
These blisters are used in mass market promotions where the Ballantine’s chevron cup, the iconic glass of the Ballantine’s brand, is attached to the neck of the bottle.

Understand the subject and try to propose a "green" alternative.
Packaging
Development of a non-standard blister pack with specific characteristics. The challenge was to develop a cardboard blister pack that was as close as possible to the requirements. The blister should not tear/separate from the bottle when the bottle is picked up by the glass and the carton should be FSC certified.
Smaller Carbon Footprint
Removal of plastic and use of FSC cardboard.
